Scene 2:

Broken - Official Music Video behind the scenes

St. Louis, Missouri | Midwest Film & Recording Studio

11:15 AM

*Zabi and Farah are recording their music video for their new single, Broken. They are recording the stage scene as a band (Drummer, two guitarists and bassist) are in the background playing along. Farah is on an electronic keyboard, while Zab is front and center. Also: D9 traveled along and are viewing from behind production.

Cameramen from different angles are recording.

“Everytime I stop and turn around. Meanwhile I can't seem figure out. The way I feel (Broken), The way I feel (Broken)” is blasted on the speakers as both are acting mysterious, while in their natural habitat.

Some members are goofing off near the snack bar and cafe tables, while some girls are being critical in the background.

Sorayah:
(Folds her arms and looks disgusted)

“I just don’t get it” 

Lety:
“Get what?”

Sorayah:
“Z’s all happy and shit now that he finally has a little shine to his name. Like girl be real, he’s doing well but why the fuck do all these new girls get pushed more than us?

Annaelise:
(Laughs)
“See there you go always hating girl like give it up”

Lety, Luna and Priya start laughing

Sorayah:
“Fuck no like think about it. Nobody even knew Farah’s name 2 minutes ago, and now she’s a big deal in the industry. You have to ask yourself though, what does he see in her that he doesn’t with us? She’s prettier? Graduated from Harvard with 2 degrees? Sex appeal? Like what is it.”

*Jenny walks over and screams to the point where the whole studio can hear*

Jenny:
“I DON’T KNOW, MAYBE SHE’S JUST BETTER THAN YOU”

*The girls let out a gasp, while Robbie, Baron, Eddy, Julian, Trae and Sunjun turnaround from a cafe table*

Sorayah:
(Gets defensive)
“Excuse me”

Jenny:
“Look bitch, you’re not gonna sit here and start talking shit about my man. He works too damn hard to make you relevant, and it’s not his fault he’s not pushing you because you like sleeping around with other coworkers”

*Sunjun, near his friends, around the table*

Sunjun:
“Oh shit”

Sorayah:
“I’m sorry but if anything. One, keep my business out your fucking mouth. Two, you haven’t done shit in months, but follow Z everywhere he's gone. And, three, you’re only fucking with him to find citizenship. So don’t go there hoe.”

*Marcus walks over*

Marcus:
“Hey ladies, what’s going o-”

Both Jenny and Sorayah towards Marcus:
“SHUT THE FUCK UP”

*Robbie laughs in the background*

*Marcus walks away*

Marcus:
(Hands up and backs up)
“Hey”

Jenny:
“You always make shit about yourself Sorayah. You’ve always been jealous of me from day 1 when I arrived in Boston, and have always made it know. But, you’re slightly mistaken. I have sold more singles than you, opened up in the Super Bowl, have done photoshoots with Covergirl, Vogue and Fenty, while you’re too busy being bitter and not clapping for others. You hang onto the same bitter ATL attitude, when you need to face the reality of things. I’m better than y-”

*Sorayah lands one right in her window*
*POW*

*Both girls are on the floor, and ripping each other apart as D9 members and security are attempting to break them up*

*Zabi is fed up as his voice stops the madness*

Zabi:
“ENOUGH”

*Everybody looks at him*

Zabi:
“I bring you muthafuckers in so we can share a vision. I don’t need women fighting, y’all three jackoffs sitting around and PEOPLE FUCKING COWORKERS. This is supposed to be a business, not a reality show. Craig, sorry to waste your time, but I can’t continue this right now. We’ll pick this back up again tomorrow. Jenny let’s go on a walk. NOW!”

Jenny:
“Okay, fine damn.”

*Jenny picks herself up, while fixing her hair and clothes then leaves out the studio with Zabi*

*Farah gives Sorayah a nasty look while saying something*

Farah:
“My whole life people have doubted me”
(Walks out of the studio)

*One by one the members fade out of the room*

Marcus:
“Nice going Sorayah”
(Walks out disappointed)

*All the lights turn out one by one as media members and production crew finish cleaning up. Sorayah is sitting at the cafe table, alone.*
