8:15 PM

*Zabi meets with one of his old high school friends, Romario*

*Romario greets him outside of his apartment*

Romario:

“SUPERSTAR”

*They both dap each other up

Zabi:

“What up my guy, how you been?”

Romario:

“I’m great man, shid I should be asking you that. You big time now fool.”

Zabi:

“Aye I’m still reaching, but not done yet.”

Romario:

“I feel you, let’s take this out back.”

*The two walk out to his back porch and talk it out for a couple of hours as it’s now May 7 - 1:00 A.M.*

Zabi:

“I’m surprised you still out here four years later, it ain’t work out at Pitt?’

Romario:

“Nah man, I wish it did. You know how it is after high school sports where you’re not guaranteed four years. I blew my knee out freshman year, and my position coach stopped fucking with me. Didn’t even get backed by my head coach dawg. I still tried going to OTA’s and working my way back to speed, but the politics is crazy in college football.”

Zabi:

“I heard you dawg.”

Romario:

“Do you know Lyla came around the complex asking bout you?”

Zabi:

“Um why?”

Lyla was Zabi’s high school girlfriend who is still obsessed with him four years later.

Romario:

“I don’t even know bro. She talks about you all the time even on her socials. Damn near obsessed with you bro, she be acting like y’all still together. Here..”

*Romario shows Zabi her Twitter feed*

Zabi:

“What the fuck *laughs awkwardly*. 

Romario:

“Yes bro *laughs*. Jenny probably reads that.”

Zabi:

“I don’t even know bro, she’s barely on that shit unless she requests her social media manager to post shit for her.”

Romario:

“Y’all are so damn boujee in hollywood.”

Both laugh

Romario:

“On some real though, keep up the great work man. A lot talk about you here, but just know I was always rooting for you when you was tryna mix and shit in class. You always had every business plan planned out and had a bright future. We ain’t 18 no more, and I’m glad that you’re doing shit the right way. Don’t let them LAX muthafuckas get to you.”

Zabi:

“Appreciate that though bro. I should probably get going though. I have an early leave tomorrow as I have to head to Canada for a meet-and-greet. You have any more Middleswarth Chips? I been missing those like crazy *laughs*.”

Romario:

“Of course fam, I gotchu.”
